SPIDERS

SPIDERS

I have noticed through all my years as being a technician that most people do not like spiders and don’t know how to spot a poisonous spider. Missouri and Kansas have two poisonous spiders the brown recluse and the black widow spider. The brown recluse you don’t see much, but you might catch a glimpse at one hiding in a room you never use or spot one in a bathtub drain in that bathroom that never gets used. In my experiences you are most likely to see them when you are remodeling the home. The brown recluse has an oval abdomen uniformly tan to brown without a marking and a dark fiddle shaped mark on the cephalothorax. With the fiddle starting at the eyes and the narrow fiddle neck ending just above the abdomen. Female black widows have large shiny black abdomen usually decorated with two red triangles (like an hourglass) on the belly. Black widows hang upside down in the web and the red hourglass is obvious. I can put a barrier on the inside and outside of your home that keeps these spiders from coming in. Infested Homes can take some time to clean all the spiders out. I guarantee my product to kill the spiders but I don’t guarantee that they won’t continue to build webs on the outside of your home when you leave the lights on at night. My product kills spiders up to 12 months on the inside. So I like to spray inside my clients home at least twice a year.

I like to spray inside my clients’ home at least once a year. If you are seeing any activity I can come in and spot spray those areas. I look at it this way: if I can keep bugs and spiders off your home, I can keep them out of your home.
